Meatless Farm has launched its first-ever TV ad as it starts to invest its long-term plan for growth. Meatless Firm, the company that manufactures meat-free products such as burgers, mince, and sausages, is trying to build on its strong growth as interests in meat alternatives are growing. According to Nielsen, Meatless Farm’s sales rose by 149% year on year in the 12 weeks to 25 January – thus it is the fastest growing brand in a sector that is experiencing annual growth of around 10%. The international market for meat alternatives is expected to be worth £4.1bn this year.
After launching in 2018, Meatless Farm now wants to spend on this growth both in the UK and in other markets, for which it sees TV advertising as a core way to do this by boosting brand awareness.
